DETAIL:

DESCRIPTION:
The main blood supply of the hip. Most of the supply of blood
comes from the medial and the lateral femoral circumflex
arteries. Some of the supply comes from the obturator artery
that gives a small branch to the head (rounded joint surface) of
the femur. If this is disrupted, some cell death occurs.
