DESCRIPTION: Arrangements of tendons and intrinsic muscles in a finger. The two sets of long finger flexors allow us to separately bend the middle joint and the last joint of our fingers. The small intrinsic muscles flex the metacarpophalangeal joint and spread the fingers.
