I purchased and downloaded my illustrations, but I don't recognize the file extension ".zip".  How do I open the illustration files once I've downloaded them?

The file extension ".zip" is used for WinZipped files.  WinZip was used to compress all of the download files on this site in order to keep the file sizes as small as possible and keep download times as fast as possible.  To learn more about WinZip and to download their free demo, please visit: www.winzip.com.

If you are using a Mac instead of a PC, decompression programs such as StuffIt Expander will unzip a WinZip file. To learn more about StuffIt and the free StuffIt Expander, please visit: www.stuffit.com.

How do I insert one of your images into a Word or WordPerfect document, or into a PowerPoint presentation?

Simply copy and paste:

  1. Select the image by clicking Edit and then Select All, or by using the Graphics Select Tool on the tool bar at the top of the screen.

  2. Copy the image by clicking Edit and then Copy.

  3. Paste the image into your document or presentation by going to Edit and then Paste.

What if I want to use my purchased illustration for more than a single case?

If you wish to use one or more of the illustrations available on this site beyond the terms of our Single-case license, please contact Robin Mechem by email, or call 714-755-5450.
